Greetings From A Nubie Nudie

Hello everyone, Tim from North Carolina here. I found this board through Christian Naturist Village and recognized some of the names. I go by timk there but I guess there is someone here going by that name. Anyway, my wife and I are Christians for many years and nudists for a month or so. We're loving it. Looking forward to being involved with this group.

Boyd, am I right in assuming you recently moved from NC to VA?

Blessings,

Tim

Ahhh, always great to hear from new converts who have discovered the joy we already know. That's why I relate Christianity to nudism. Both have joy that new people can discover on their own and can then join us in our freedom.

Hey, this website is absolutely the best period, bar none, and
if christian naturists really want to get the word out, they can,
if they unite under one banner, of truth.

check out my website, chock full of truth about who God is,
and who we are, created very good by a perfect God for
his temples.

Welcome

October 20 2007, 9:02 AM

HI and Welcome!

Glad to have you here, especially new CN's! I just moved from Greensboro to Va and we love it up there. We miss Greensboro and the people here, but we also love where we are at now.

What part of NC are you at (without revealing ID)? There are several others in NC as well that visit this board.

I am heading up with help from a lot of friends on this board, a Christian Nudist Convocation CNC where Christian nudists get together at least once a year for a weekend of discipleship, fellowship and worship....while having a blast!

Our event for the East coast will be at Cherokee Lodge in Tennessee in July of '08.

Please continue to visit and use this board. It's been around since 2000 and at the bottom, you will find page numbers of all our chat here since then.

CNC

Tim,

You need to join the CNC Forum on Yahoo!.

It should ask you if you want to join it since it is by invitation only. I will approve you when you sign up. Just give a day or so for me to check it.

This will be our main page for updates and events. We sometimes discuss it through here as well, though I do have another location we use for the leaders who are organizing it. We give our results through this CNC forum for everyone.

My wife is in Charlotte right now at a Women Of Faith Conference. She will be back home tonight.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Welcome to the forum, Tim. I'm in a lot of forums--including non-naturist Christian ones, but they're not as much fun since I can't mention nudity there.

Hi

October 22 2007, 1:05 PM

Welcome Tim, My wife and I also live in NC about 1 hour from concord. We pastor a church and have been nudist 1 year. Have you been to any of the resorts or clubs? Our first time was scary and liberating at the same time. It's good to have some local people here. God bless. Rev J

Not Far Away

October 24 2007, 1:25 PM

Hi,

We're not far away if you are only an hour from Concord. We have visited several resorts, the first being Whispering Pines in Ocean Isle. That was our very first time to be nude with others. My wife nearly had a panic attack as we drove in the gate but after only a short time we were both very comfortable. We have also visited Carolina Foothills Resort in Chesnee, SC. We really like it there and it's only two hours away.

Where do you guys visit?

Tim

here and there

October 25 2007, 11:21 AM

The 2 places that you mentioned are some that I have wanted to check out. As of right now we have been to bar-s-ranch in reidsville, and cherokee lodge with CNC. We have also been to a nude thanksgiving dinner with a non-landed club, that was really cool. One of my dreams is to go to a nude beach. I love the ocean so much I wish I could move there, so bringing together two of my passions would be great. Bar-s-ranch was our first time ever being nude around others. Outside the gate we had to wait for the owner, which gave us time to flip-out. It really hit home when we saw the first couple sitting naked in front of their RV. We pulled into the parking lot and my wife asked me where the undressing rooms where. I told her we where sitting in it, lol. Glad to have fellowship with you Tim. Rev J

I'm a beach guy too. We go down to Myrtle Beach quite often. We're planning on going to the Thanksgiving Dinner next Saturday at CFR. If you guys want to go let me know and we'll meet up somewhere. Hopefully the weather will be nice.

More Bio for BGB

October 27 2007, 10:10 AM

Tim,
Just wanted to add something to the resume of "BigGrizzleyBare" here. He also gave the sermon at our CNC last June!

Not bad for a "Newbie". We hope that you and your wife get to join us.

Boyd,

Did you intend to direct folks to the Northcrest Village Homowners Community (http://www.ncvillage.org) or to the Christian Naturist Village (http://www.cnvillage.org/) or perhaps to the CNC section on that website (http://www.cnvillage.org/cnc/)?

Also, is BGB a new handle for Adam of Adam and Eve or were you referring to a different preacher?
