Boyd I was near your old stomping grounds the last few days. I'm sure you are familiar with the great city of Dinsmore, Fl. We had some work to do there on a gated community in the area. Also another familiar place to some, Paradise Lakes.

Sorry, it's been so many years since I've stomped any grounds there, that I am not familiar with the place. But then again, the entire county of Duval is incorporated into Jacksonville (thus the largest city in the US land wise), that the whole area is call Jacksonville. However, they still call the individual communities it incorporated by their original names like Riverside, Central Riverside, Lake Forest, etc.

I am more familiar with the Southside of town than the north. Especially the next county of Clay; Orange Park, Middleburg, Green Cove Springs, etc.

I knew you were from the Middleburg area. Dinsmore is north west of town on old kings road. I spent some quality time at NAS Jax after the Marine base in Miami was closed back in the 50's. It would have been fun, but that was before they cleaned up the river. Bad smell!!

Good 'ol St.Johns River! Yeah, I remember when it was smelly! Now its a "feature" of Jacksonville and they are building parks and scenic tours around it.
