We have a new addition to the family. Austin James was born 04/16/08 at 9:35pm, 21 inches long and 8 lbs 2 oz. he looks like his mother. But he's already acting like me, he waited until I left after being home for 3 days before he decided to make his entrance. lol
Yes mom and baby are doing well, but I found out that he had a knot in his umbilical cord and wasn't getting oxygen just prior to birth. I was told he was blue when he was born, but pinked up pretty quickly once he started breathing for himself.

You can say that again, he's currently up most of the night and sleeps most of the day.
Well, way to go. I remember that day for us. The waiting was agony, but she was beautiful and still is 25 years later. In the end you're just relieved its all over. Whoops, then again, its just the beginning isn't it?
