Clothesbegone (CBG) and his wife (still here at this writing) and BigGrizzleyBare (happy2beadam) and family, came Friday evening. They stayed over this weekend.
We went to White Tail Resort on Saturday, enjoyed it until dark, then went home. We went to our church on Sunday, went out to eat at a local 50's style hamburger restaurant Sunday evening and then spent the rest of the time here at the house.
While we were at the Resort on Saturday, we visited the chapel that Allen Parker fixed up for them. Fortunately, the doors were open, and we some of us signed their visitors book. I wonder what they thought when they saw our names on there the next day! It is very nice. Last time I was there, it was an old worn out building with junk in it. Today, it's a beautiful church building. We were impressed! Great job Allen! Unfortunately, he wasn't there!
We talked last night till nearly midnight. BGBare family left around noon today. They have about a four hour trip back home.
It was a great weekend, and still enjoying the visit. This was the first time we had gone to White Tail Park since we moved here, and the first time at all for the BGBare family. We plan to join White Tail as a full member $oon.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well, especially amongst nude friends and family!
It truly was a great weekend. Once again, Boyd and his family proved to be outstanding hosts. Especially considering the size of the bare clan. And of course seeing CBG and spouse was icing on the cake (red velvet to be exact). The day at White Tail was magical. I was truly impressed with the resort as a whole. It will be even easier to go back since now we have joined AANR (come ooonnnnnn discount!). Spending time with our naturist friends was worth the drive. Following CBG home from the resort, we learned that it could also stand for
CAR BE GONE (Sorry dude, had to throw that one in there).
One last thing, the name white tail is misleading because after being there none of us have one anymore. Talk to ya later.
Was glad to have ya! You know you are always welcomed!
And "White Tail" is actually referring to the huge amount of deer we have in the area. But you are right, it can't be meaning all those tanned hides we saw there!
We had some nutty weather here. I'll just copy what I posted in my 360 blog and that'll pretty much tell it all:
Whew, Memorial weekend was a doozy. Wifey suggests we camp out starting on the Wednesday before Memorial Day so she can stay out there at our nudist club while I go home after a couple of days, work and then join her again Sunday night. I always feel quite blessed because she has no psychological problems being nude in front of anyone and enjoys the admiring looks she often gets around the pool ("Look, honey, they float."). Marvelous plans except for the rain, storms, tornadoes, cold temps and overcast skies. Not exactly the nudist weather we were hoping for. Fortunately, the tornadoes were about 20 miles away, but still, when we lived in Southern Illinois I would expect some...not in Southern Cal-a-for-nee. Wifey spend most of her time alone in sweats bundled up to keep warm. The club still had their parties, water volleyball that took place in the indoor pool and tennis when it cleared for minutes at a time. Of course, I can't really use tennis as an example sine they're a rather rabid bunch that will keep playing till lightning strikes the light pole. And even then it may have to hit someone in the foursome to make them stop for CPR. By the time I got out there Sunday night the weather had calmed. Still chilly, but I bring a bath robe that gives me just enough warmth to have it untied and still be flapping around in the open. Uh, the robe that is. We sat around Sunday night having a couple of drinks when about 10pm we hear a couple in their mid 30's heading back to their tent who are there from Las Vegas. The woman must have been a newby to nudism because wifey had heard her saying on Friday, "Look, look, look at me, I'm naked. See, they jiggle when I walk (breast reference...LOL)." Now, wifey has the fluorescent lantern in the tent lit up and it should be obvious that we're there, but we suddenly sense trouble in paradise when we heard the woman barking about him not having any sense and he just doesn't get it. He's pissed off now, throws something and hollers, "O.K., fine, f*** you." Right away not only does my good sense take over and I don't comment on anything to wifey, but I think to myself that here's a guy with his wife/girlfriend and they're here, able to be nude anytime, he's getting to sleep with her naked and he's going to screw that up by fighting with her and maybe have to sleep in the car. Dumb ass. You're at a place that is a joy to be at and you're stressing out at something because you probably had too much to drink at the party. And judging from the wine boxes they threw away Sunday, too much drinking would be just the start. Well, Monday started to clear, I wore the robe around all day, saw lots of beautiful women, the hot tub was packed and we finally got home safe without the stress of a spousal fight and I DIDN'T sleep in the car (LOL).
Thanks for the report guys. I'd wondered how the weekend went. I regretted very much that I couldn't be a part of it, especially since you drove, literally, right by my house. We generally always have busy weekends, but this past weekend was unusually busy. Besides being a holiday weekend, one couple we know (our friends) finally married each other and we were quite involved in all that. For one, I did a (pre-)wedding photo shoot for them on Sunday afternoon after church (I'm getting into photography and it was good practice).
Anyway, hopefully, we can get together with you all next time. Just keep me in the loop, and hopefully it will work out. I sure enjoyed meeting you (Boyd and family) last time. It was neat and a real blessing.
Hi Greg
I had no idea we where close to anyone else. If you are so inclined how about sending me a Email with your info. There will be lots more trips in your direction. Biggrizzlybare
Boyd and his family go to church right up the street from us -- literally. They drive by my house to go to church every Sunday -- literally. Our house is off the main road that they have to go down to go to church. I'll email you our exact address so you can Google us.
Aside from the awesome fun that was had all weekend it was also a really cool preview of one of the benefits of the upcoming CNC events. We had some great fellowship and some pretty deep discussion without beating each other over the head too much. If we could each learn from each others strengths and from our own weaknesses I think we'd be a lot closer to what Jesus had in mind for the church. Despite whatever differences we might have (gasp! yes, "leaders" have differences too) I think it was evident that God's love and grace abounded.
