Anyone notice more commercials are using naturism? There is a new series or a new channel that focuses on Green living. How be more conscious of our environment.

One ad for it had a couple of nude people living environmentally friendly (they should have read my article) and was in a building where a night watchman walked by wearing nothing but a gun holster and belt. They said he was getting into the environment thing too. He replied, "Nope, just naked".

Another commercial introducing backup cameras on the vehicle. The man picked up a balloonist who landed in the middle of the road. He found there were about four of them in the basket, all nudists. He gave them a ride, but tried to look back to backup away from the balloon, and then thought better of it and used the backup camera instead to avoid seeing a bunch of naked men in the back seat.

Yes, it appears that even in the USA, more advertising is using nudity.

I don't know what the effect will be long term however.

I did think the Go Green advertisement was cute and harmless. I also noticed the WAMU and Honda ad. It could have a negative reaction but with things presented in a manner with the bit of comedy, who knows.

Such things are a good start--but I'm still waiting for the serious cultural debate...

I could see that as being a healthy push....

I am sorry, I mis-understood your questions.

A few years ago, the Denver (Colorado) water board was attempting to get people to conserve water because of water shortages. They had people with sandwich boards around the downtown.

One I remember seeing was "Conserve water, Go Naked". The odd thing was the guy wearing the sandwich board was not naked.... What ever happened to truth in advertising.

Ultimately, You would save on water and detergent as well as, at least in the summer, electricity due to Air Conditioners. I do notice that I am able to tolerate 70 - 72 degrees indoors in the winter but not so much in the summer.

Maybe the cops told the sandwich guy he couldn't go nude...

Thanks for that link! That was the one I was talking about. And I like the security guards answer, "nope, just naked".

Thanks for the link. Now I need to figure out how to save that video and put it next to my vegetarian skinny dipper on my multiply page. http://naturallifestyles.multiply.com/

I don't know how multiply works with videos but....

I found the same video on YouTube which allows the videos to be embedded into many types of sytems... There are also a couple of tools that allow them to be pulled from YouTube but..
