We had a great chat last night! Four guests plus myself. One person came in late just when we were about to end, adding another few minutes to our chat.
And there walking before him, as if on the other side of a brook, was the Lady herself – walking with her head a little bowed and her hands occupied in plaiting together some blue flowers. She was singing to herself in a low voice but stopped and turned as he hailed her and looked him full in the face.
“I was young yesterday,” she began, but he did not hear the rest of her speech. The meeting, now that it had actually come about, proved overwhelming. You must not misunderstand the story at this point. What overwhelmed him was not in the least the fact that she, like himself, was totally naked. Embarrassment and desire were both a thousand miles away from his experience: and if he was a little ashamed of his own body, that was a shame which had nothing to do with difference of sex and turned only upon the fact that he knew his body to be a little ugly and a little ridiculous. Still less was her colour a source of horror to him. In her own world that green was beautiful and fitting; it was his pasty white and angry sunburn which were the monstrosity. It was neither of these but he found himself unnerved. He had to ask her presently to repeat what she had been saying.

This does not prove nor disprove Dr. Lewis' active participation in naturism. It does say some interesting things about his attitude toward nudity.
Even though this message above was put into the wrong place, it's OK because it was done by "Anudymous", which gives me a chance to introduce one of our new members.
Anudymous is Anonymous who is nude. I changed the default "Anonymous" to "Anudymous" so if Anonymous insists on posting here, he/she would at least be nude!
Anudymous can also be the part we play upon the stage of this forum.
Alas, we oft forget to post our real Internet handle, so Boyd "Shakespeare" Allen has graciously provided this little figleaf of cover for our identity so we can cover up the fact that, once again, we absentmindedly failed to type our usual handle. However, except for this metaphorical cover, I am otherwise unencumbered by clothing. Being nude hasn't helped my forgetfulness, but I am arguably a happier forgetful person when I am not wearing clothes!!
I know that others are sometimes afflicted with forgetfulness too, so I suspect that it won't be long before some other hapless naked person stumbles onto the stage and the "Stage Manager" grabs him/her and says, "The casting call for Anudymous has ended, we have our new vict.. er, actor for this role tonight!
I used to be a big Doctor Who fan (British Science Fiction television show) and realized pretty quickly that LOTS of people played Doctor Who over the years. Whenever they needed to bring in a new Doctor Who, they simply said that he "transmogrified" to a new form.
I'm waiting gleefully to see who becomes the next Anudymous???
Actually, it was not intended that it be "you" but anyone who forgets to sign...and I have forgotten to sign on occasion too.
At least, we can have some fun with it and the person would be associated with being nude.
What would be funny is, if someone came on and blasted us for being nudists, not sign their name, and they would automatically be associated with being nude! I'm sure they would "appreciate" that!
Exposing the weakness of their argument can be amusing

That would be especially delicious, if one of the clothing trolls visits here and gets stuck with being Anudymous for a day.
I have enjoyed shedding my clothes every day when I return to my house. It's really become part of my routine, so much so that I tend to take this comfort for granted.
My heart really goes out to guys or ladies who have to share a house with family or roommates who don't allow any place of refuge from clothing.
I know a fair number of us here in this forum got married and then decided to do without clothing a few years into the marriage only to discover that their partner is not cool with that. In less extreme cases, the nudist finds himself tolerated, but still alone when it comes to nude living.
In my case, I wanted to live without clothing since I was a young boy, but I was under the mistaken impression that it was almost impossible to live the way God intended without causing others to stumble or myself to stumble for that matter. People in that predicament can come here and talk it out with us, can read Boyd's essays and find a way to be a good Christian that includes nude living, like God planned for us from the start.
Then there are those people who refuse to listen to the evidence...They've come here to argue and not to learn. They insist on covering what God designed to be uncovered and "exposing" the weakness of their argument can be quite amusing at times, but my heart goes out to them too. We can pray for these folks even when they come here to pick fights and complain.
