Whew, I sure hope so. The winter has been one wild rollercoaster ride. And not a good one. We're having some ups and downs with the temps here, but it seems to be gradually warming. I'm hoping we keep enough stashed away to be able to renew our club membership due next month, so we can find renewal throughout the year.
It's been cool and windy here. I'm sure if my neighbors saw me, they may think I'm crazy enough going nude, but in this cool windy weather? Crazier than they thought!
It was a scorcher here today. The one time I looked at my outdoor thermometer, it was 88 degrees. The sun was HOT! I didn't do anything outside because of the heat, and we're barely into Spring!
We had a great Easter potluck dinner today in the clubhouse, and most of the food was great! I made Chicken Cacciatore with 6 pounds of chicken and had none of it left. I also made four dozen brownies from scratch (the only way I bake) and had a dozen left me for to enjoy. I made them with Splenda instead of sugar and doubt that anyone noticed. Despite the sugar in it, I had to try a strawberry cake that a woman brought, and I'm glad I did-it was SO good and not sickening sweet like most people made cakes and frosting. Finally, someone who can rival my baking ability. How's that for being immodest? They had roasted a pig, but it was very dry
.....to rain on anyones parade from his home in the nudist resort in Florida. But honestly, was it really the heat that was so bad, or was it the humidity? I know for me as long as the humidity is low I can take the heat well up into the 90's or lower 100's without much issue, but if it's pretty humid also (as Florida tends to get) then even 80 is kinda hard to take.
