Exactly! Been a very odd Spring this year. Much cooler than normal. Had a hottt spell recently and then back to cooler temps. Almost had to spend $$$ and turn on the AC. Usually, by this time we've had a bunch of club visits and are both half way to the summer tan. We're picking up speed, though and are planning our camping trips out there. Wifey is even suggesting we set up early, she would stay out there alone for a few days and I join her when my official vacation starts.
It's been very wet here for a week or more, and it isn't finished yet. I'm getting so tired of the rain, and it isn't even the rainy season yet. That's not for several months yet. Then it will rain every day for at least a couple of months.
I haven't used the hot tub since it started raining about week ago. Even if it wasn't raining all the time, the hot tub is kept too cool by the cold rain. Even Florida rain is not warm. The only time the rain temperature is tolerable is during the summer--but barely tolerable.
Hey, I am very familiar with Florida rain. When it rains, it rains. We were just talking about that today that Florida is getting drenched! And like you said, if we had this kind of rain later in the season, it would be more hurricane season.
But there is a lesson to learn about hot tubs and cold rain.
PUT A ROOF OVER IT!!! (Then put it up again after hurricane season!)
