It is so cold here at the moment!!!! Two days ago their was ice on my front garden and the grass crunched as I walked on it. I remember what it was like back up north where it never had frost and it was never as cold as this. My wife still is saying she likes it here even though it is so cold. I suppose I will like it again when the weather wrms up.
The old team where I worked sent us a photograph from the local paper up there where a "short slightly over weight bald white bearded man" streackrd at a golf competition and they all thought of me!! They asked if I had snuck up and not told them!! But he had hair where I don't and I have Hair where he doesn't. Still it looked like me!!
It would have been nice to be walm enough to do that though.

There is one thing about the cold and streaking. You streak really fast!!
It is getting as hot up here as it is getting cold down there! Fortunately, no crunchy grass. If it were crunchy, it would be due to drought. We had so much rain this year that so far, none of the large farms in the area where I am at had to run their sprinklers! I'm sure they are happy about that. The corn is far greener and taller than I had ever seen it here, not that I have been here that long.
We had to make a quick trip to get my older sister to come stay with us a week or so. (Sorry biggrizzlybare, I thought about you there). It was good to see the lakes back up again, really full and beautiful, and the trees and plants looking so lush. It was terrible the last few years.
I'm trying to stay nude as much as possible here. I guess I better be careful lest I end up in the local paper!
I remember living in Illinois and the winters were killer. It was fun being towed behind the car on a sled (wow, can you say hazardous?), but I think I've always had nudist in me cause I've enjoyed the summer weather and a minimum of clothing.
In Southern California we've got the June gloom, as its called. Overcast skies in the AM and gradually clearing by noon. This year seems to be especially clouody. We still have cooler temps up till now. I checked the national weather service for Peoria where my brothers live and its ten degrees hotter there. Well, at least we're saving a bundle on air condiyioning costs. Not that we could afford to turn it on anyway. The club, though, is further inland where its hotter and we'll be camping soon (ahhhhhh).
We've had clouds and rain here in Colorado too, and in Nebraska where I visited last week (I returned to Denver Tuesday). But today it's sunny and very comfortable. Maybe summer has finally gotten here!
I would gladly send you a few degrees of this weather if I could, and it's not even officially summer yet. We are running around 90 degrees or slightly higher, and I'm dying from the heat since my air conditioner doesn't work. I have no money to get it repaired.
