I am sorry to say that we will not be able to join the Guinness book of world records for the largest skinny dip. We planned to have a church picnic today so Gwin and I will be hosting that. We were the ones who planned it forgetting about the skinny dip weekend. But we also had to make it convenient for this group as well.

However, Gwin and I will be going to the Avalon Fest in August to set up a booth for Gwin and her Forever Little Moments business.

We hope to have a lot of fun. First time running this in a nudist resort!

I hope the rest of you will join the Skinny Dip Record attempt!

Unfortunately, when you work at a church (ugh!!!) you host weddings on Saturday and sell your product on Sundays, so we can't make it with the rest of the country. However, we'll try to be there in spirit and do our own skinny dipping on Wednesday and when we camp out again in a couple of weeks.

My wife and I were there and each have a "Certificate of Participation" to prove it. They had a helicopter fly over and take a picture to confirm head count. Also had two sheriff's deputies there to certify the count.

I guess the summer time has taken all our readers out. It has been slowing down here, but I think we are the only ones on here right now.

I'm reading both actually... In fact, I'm subscribed to both through Bloglines RSS aggregator. You blog it or somebody posts new here, I see it. Replies to a post don't, however, show up in rss.

I think there is a way to look at stats on the blog but don't remember how.

On the Skinny Dip record, no, wasn't able to participate.

I might have, if I hadn't already been scheduled to help lead the Denver installment of the World Naked Bike Ride. My goodness, two nude events the same weekend! lol

You would have had to strap me down to keep me from the Skinny Dip! Whatever the final numbers are it was certainly a success in terms of media coverage and in bringing first timers out. It remains to be seen how many first timers come back.
