It wasn't until we were well on our trick-or-treating venture that I realized I left my camera at home. I didn't dress up, just the kids. But here's a picture of me anyway.

I love Manitou, spend lots of time there, icluding the drum circle (before it got cold) and have done a variety of internet searches for different events in the area. I've come across your site many times. It's great, btw--love all the pictures!

What a great time! A "little" windy, but very worth it. The limping zombie was a hoot! :)

Brrr...

October 29 2004, 9:19 PM

O my--I see snow! Brrr. My husband and I both agreed that Colorado should make an exception and celebrate Halloween just two weeks earlier. What a difference it'd make!

the drum circle on election eve--come join us!

October 30 2004, 1:05 AM

This just in. ;) A request for Manitou (or any!) Drummer's:

"The PPJPC will be organizing a local event on November 1st in
solidarity with International Candlelight Peace Vigils on the Eve of
Election. This will be from 5:30-6:30 PM at Acacia Park. The action
will be symbolic of the global impact U.S. national elections. There
will be no formal program, just a candlelight vigil, and we were
hoping to have a drumming circle to provide some kind of solemn mood
for the occasion."

All is welcome--come join us!
