It would go a long way to helping out. In today's world where every penny disappears as soon as you've earned it, every little bit makes a difference.

Now if they only sort out Selly Oak hospital, soldiers might be in danger of getting a decent deal.

I wonder at what date the bonus begins? Since the men of 3 PARA BG have now moved out of the front line, will they get any of this.
As for whether is should be based on tax etc. As I see it, it should be a straight danger money payment, regardless of rank and payscale.
