This man gets my support - and I'm emphatically NOT a 'little Englander'! I'm happy to have as much inter/intra-country free market access and the removal of cross-border trade barriers and tarriffs as was the original idea and concept of The Common Martket - a la 1973.

I did not sign up for, nor do I want to be run by an unelected cabal, whom I can't remove by ballot or, indeed, for whom I cannot vote in, based in Brussels. Too many people died on the road to allowing me the responsibility of having a vote on the way my country is governed and run - AND BY WHOM!!!!

Give me/us a referendum or accept my understandable and justifiable political enmity.

I didn't see this come up for debate or discussion, let alone a vote.

I wouldn't worry to much about this.

As you know I am a farmer and the EU insist on a large amount of form filling by farmers all of which seem to have a box in which you have to record the amount of land farmed. The first question usually is to indicate by ticking the required box as to whether you wish to use Acres or Hectares as the unit of measure.
