See when we open a topic, can we get the replies limited to say 20 per page, then page 2 then page 3 etc etc. Then we would not need to scroll down past some very long posts, we could just click on last page etc.

Does that make sence?

Lassen - good idea, these are the available settings below, I've changed the max indent from unlimited to 20, I think that may be it:

Sort order AscendingDescending - Last Reply
Sort root messages in ascending or descending order

Thread Format Fully ThreadedLinear
Select the thread format for the forum. Selecting "Fully Threaded" lets a thread have multiple levels of replies. Selecting "Linear" allows one level of replies (to the original message only).

Thread Limit - set to 12
The maximum number of root threads before starting a new page (max 50)

Maximum Indent - set to 20
The maximum indentation level of replies within a thread.

Page Limit - no limit
The maximum number of pages of messages (zero for unlimited)

don't think it can be done - didn't make any difference anyway.

while I'm at it,if you'd like the colours changing to a subtle beige or font to something else, let me know.

I quite like the colours as they are, makes it easy on my old eyes.
