I'm not a sun reader, and I was sent this link. Video is damning evidence, yet he walks away. Time for a LA Style Riot me thinks.

More Neds get away with far worse than this to make me think that the balance is still in the Neds' favour.

Lassen's right! LOL! The police officers who spoke to the doorman should have been carpeted too. In Scotland if the law is broken, as in this case, it does not matter whether the victim makes a complaint, the lawbreaker is due for arrest and trial.

This case was a bloody disgrace.

Did you know in Scottish Law..

If I say to you..

I'm going to hit you, you cunt. etc etc

Thats just as bad as phisically doing it.

So the moral of the story for when your visiting Scotland is, Hit. don't threaten, its the same crime.

Lassen,
not quite mate. They are both assault but the latter is with bodilly harm. Breach of the Peace is a more serious offence here than in England whilst our trespass law is farcical.

Beg to differ mate, well sort off.

Charges dont always mention the physical damage/injury, unless its listed along the lines of.. With intent to cause physical or pernamanet damage. Blah Blah Blah

While working as a doorman, many of my buddies, including me, took many a threat from drunken bellends,

Along the lines off, "Your fucking Dead, Im gonna cut you" etc etc. Quick call to CCTV and more often than not said idiot was lifted and charged with assult. Even though many a time no contact had been made, as they were too pissed.
