Hi. New here. I'm considering getting a rat for a pet. I recently lost my 2nd beloved cat (July 3) to what I think is a cat hating neighbor. I really want a four legged friend in the house, but will not risk getting another cat. I know rats are intelligent and from what I have heard, make great pets. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm heartbroken about my cat and need a new furry friend! So do my kids! Thanks in advance! Lori
