rosabella's bleeding seems to have backed off. yes, she was pregnant when we got her. the pet store says she is two to three months old, but my good friend, who KNOWS rats, thinks she is about 6 months old! i think that pet store (pet supplies plus) scammed us, and i don't think they care about animals.
i would never take those babies back to them! my mother called the damn manager to talk about the whole situation, and he said he would take them back, and mom asked, as pets, right? and then he got all mad and huffy and said, "fine, take the animals in and we'll stick them in the freezer until they die. we can sell them as feeder rats". GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! he is an evil evil man, and i personally think it is fate that we bought rosabella! if we hadn't, all those beautiful baby rats would have died cold and alone in a freezer, only to have their bodies fed to a slimy cold snake!
so, uh, no, i will not take them back. but its a good idea if they sell them as pets.
