I just noticed you joined our little group here. I know some things about rats, but not a whole lot either.Actually, before I bought a rat, I bought a book to see what I was getting into. I'v had rats now for about 6 yrs. now. I'v lost 5 of them. thats the worst, they don't live long. It hurts everytime, but I have learned not to look back, I had to make up my mind, learn to appritiate the time I had with them and don't look back at the death, Or don't have them at all because it hurts so much.
You have 11 rats? wow.!! That was 3 months ago, now you have another litter? Did you want that? or did you not ralize how fast they start mating? because I bought a female and male together and meant to seperate them. too late, they had 13 babies!!. Its kind of a neat experience though:)
