I guess I break up my e-mails into 3, they are so long.These Pet stores seem to hire anybody, and thats o.k., but they could at least select a bunch of their own paperback books on rats, guenea pigs, birds, fish, etc. and tell the people they hire to read some of these things, so they know a little of what they are talking about. Get a load of this one. My stepdaughter went to buy 2 rats, and she was looking and wanting a rat cage just like mine., SHe knew what she wanted!!! So what does the guy do? says" oh, no you need a much bigger cage" and sells her a rabbit cage!!!!!!!! of course the wires were way too wide, so when she gets home and sets it up, the rats walked right out of it. PetSMART? So she brings that back and what does he do? sells her a 50 gallon tank!!Do you know how big that is? Is this 12 yr. old supposed to lug that thing around to empty and clean it? She didn't know any better then to listen to him, because her mother doesn't know anything about rats, never having one. But, she knew what she wanted in the first place!THat was a waste of $50.00 of her own money. (from Christmas) So I gave her mine,which is rally nice and got myself another one at a swap-meet. Should go over there and complain about their employees dumbness.
