Thank goodness my mum believes in taking even the smallest creatures to the vet... My friend has three mice and it's really disgusting.
They have an obvious case of mites(hairloss,one of them's ear if half missing-scratching and mites-) and she just says that there's no point in bringing them to the vet! I'm apawled!!!!
How can she say that!!!! she says they don't live long anywayz so why waste money!!!! What is up with that!!!!!
Her mice are suffering because she won't help them. Because they are so disgusting she doesn't change the cage or hold them because she thinks they're gross! It's horrible! Cruelty to animals if you ask me.
I'm really not happy with her, I feel like taking them away and telling her that she can have em' back once she learns how to properly treat pets.
We had rats once that got sick and we had to take them to the vet and when our vet wouldn't take them because she called them "exotic animals" My mum searched high and low to find a vet and when we found one she payed for all the meds and everything!!!(we got pina colada medicine which they loved, we had to give it to them in a little dropper and they would all run up because they loved it so much.)
Too bad that not all people understand the value of life, even that of the smallest creatures...
