Thank you! I just wonder how you're supposed to give the medicine to the rat. If you know, please help me!
By the way, Nibbles is sitting here on my shoulder. He seems alot better on his own for the time being. I think he just went through a bad time when he fell out of my hand into his cage from about a foot or so. Rats can allegedly fall from thirty feet without harm (read it on some website), but Nibbles is pretty old. He wouldn't let me pick him up for a while, and when I did, he lost his balance easily, so it was right back into the cage with him for more healing. This all happened a few days ago. Now his nose no longer has any deep redness, and the redness is slowly transferring to his eyes. This is a good thing, since he's a ruby eyed albino. His breathing has quickened from half of a second to the normal quarter of a second. He's overall doing much better.
I also talked to one of my friends yesterday about him. He used to have two rats that each lived for about 3 years. They were both female and he had them at the same time. One of them, Midnight, died of thirteen tumors but did have myco. He said that after the cloudy eyes came along, Midnight lived for another good four or five months. I hope the same will be true with Nibbles, but longer because as far as I know he has no tumors, but we'll see. Nibbles is doing good for now and has his balance slowly returning. He's getting better for now.
Nibbles's story is pretty interesting, too. However this message is getting long so I'll start a new one for that.
