Thank you very much for all of the input. We did take our little rat girl to the vet this morning. He did remove the remaining stich and said that everything is healing up nicely. Yes, she removed all of the stiches by herself except for one. As for her breathing problem I do believe that it could be myco. The vet said that he does not believe that he tumor spread to the lungs due to the fact that her breathing problems do not occur all the time. We noticed that she would sneeze at times but we never really paid attention to it until she seemed as though she was trying to breathe through her mouth to get enough air. And what gets me the most is that when she is done and she is able to breathe normally she goes right back to her normal routine. The vet has suggested to keep her happy and stress free. And we do know that her time is comming. She has lived a long life for a rat. We will do our best to keep her clean, warm, happy and with a full tummy.
