mine are always licking. They do groom eachother. & me. Sometimes they give my fingernail a little nibble. doesn't hurt, I can just feel it. My rats pile on top of eachother to keep warm. They have plenty to do in & out of the cage. and they are definitely not lonely! ~Jessica~
