hi my name is diane and i may have some info about the sneezing of ratties. if you are using ceader or pine for litter or if you smoke that causes sneezing.see with pine or ceader the urine doesnt absorb well and when the pee they have lots of amonya in there urine and the pine adds to it. i use a litter called careeresh, and my girls( snow white and annie denver) dont sneeze. if its really bad they (all ratties) tend to get respitory dieases and theres nothing you can really do about that. if you think it is the respitory you can hold them up to your ear and listen to their breathing. if there chest rattles and sound "wet" in their chest then they have the respitory diease. that is what i lost harpo and curly to last year. also look at their noses and see if there is red fluids coming out. the fluids are not blood, i guess thats the color of runny noses, but i think thats okay also. they are really sensitive critters so becareful of using cleaning supplies aroun them and make sure every time you get them out to wash your hands. i am sure they are fine especially if they are young (they are called kittens if they are babies) em amil me if you want
