Hi I dunno if any of you remember me, but I was on here quite a while ago and only now have I been reminded to come back on... My sister got 3 ratties... 2 girls and a boy. One of the females is as we speak having babies... The problem is the other female kept eating them, so we moved the rat giving birth to a different tank. I was just wondering why the one rat couldn't accept the babies like mice do... any reasons? Also Lucy and Amelia are alive and well, we still have our 1 cat, 2 dogs and lovebirds... but we also have a new addition... my baby.. an african grey parrot. Also my sister has added to her own menagerie 5 mice and 3 rats.. O what a zoo.. anyhow anything that may be helpful would be appreciated because I can't understand it.. The mice(who have babies right now) all seem to take turns taking care of the babies so we didn't think rats would be much different..
