No disrespect taken. But what can be done about that? We either stop teaching all together and become ultra paranoid about who's buying what or we do our best to screen people and make sure no one uses the stuff for the wrong reasons. There's only so much one can do dude...
I agree with Rich, and believe that you can only control so much of what you sell and teach to what certian people. About 2 years ago, I decided to search for Sammy's stuff and see what came up online. The same stuff would always come up, Ranger Surplus Stores, Magazines, SD and MA websites, and nothing really big. After about an hour of seeing the same stuff I found one that caught my eye. I found a rather bothersome title, something like "this man will help us kill those *******'s" I clicked and was shoked to find a Neo-Nazi website. The held Sammy in very high respect and told their followers to buy his books, so they could learn to KILL, (please do not be offended) "Jews, Nigers, Spics, Fags, and all other Dirty creatures that claim to be human" Sammy would never teach a person who thought like this, but he didnt have control of the people who bought his book. I believe many people will read this material in order to learn to kill, and its truly sad that we cannot control this, and that many will die because of it, but how many more will be saved by what we teach and how many more will be able to not only survive, but live a safe happy life.
In my opinion, no body can enhance their 'confrontational' ability just by solely watching the tapes and nothing else. In analogy, Senshido tapes will show us the right direction, but it is up to us to use our feet to move towards that direction.
Let's say there's one bad individual and one good individual. Both had dissected all information on the tapes, did all the drills with partners and aliveness, and mental blueprinting all possible scenarios.
The good guy will have much higher chance of surviving the assault from the bad guy because the will to survive is much more stronger than any desire to hurt, maim, or kill.
This is just my opinion though.

Please allow me to introduce myself to this exceptional forum and its exceptional members. I am just a regular joe with a clueless face most of the time :P…but some unfortunate experiences had forced me to learn martial arts (a little bit TKD, boxing, judo, and Aikido) and fortunately I have acquired just enough experiences to realize that I couldn’t rely on any of the above when needed. I agree with you 100%, I was using the idea that these "bad guys" were attcking "easy targets" that have no experience in self defense. And knowing only the 5 principles of physical retaliation will give you an adavntage to a person with no experience. But i agree the will to survive is much greater the the will to hurt. From my training with Sammy and experiences with Rich, personal and written/video, you can learn what it takes to kill someone very fast. Im not saying that what they teach, but its there. Welcome to the forum, I cant speak for the Senshido crew, but as a CFA rep. welcome to one of the BEST forums Ive ever posted on. You will find smart people who also are always humble and wanting to learn more. Hope to see you more.

There are too many people in this world who are working very hard for their family and then at some point of time, they got robbed and killed because they were unaware, untrained, and misinformed.
I wish these people can get Rich or Sammy’s materials, or others’ materials with similar motives and methods…so that at least…these people have a better chance…
And regarding those ‘trained’ thugs…I look at it this way…let’s just train harder and smarter than them …I’ll use their ‘thuggish’ image for training motivation…

I have to agree with you 100%, watching isn't doing. And doing without fundamentally understanding isn't necessarily good either. For the most part, an a**hole who buys our tapes won't have the patience to sit through my long winded explanations and will probably fast forward the most important aspects of the tapes...
Acquire OC spray... handguns... stunguns... boxcutters... knives... crowbars... so what do we do? we keep out of the law abiding citizen's hands? tell us what to do, if it makes sense we will do it.

Isn't the entire concept of western democracy based upon YOU making the choice of how you'll absorb something and how you'll apply it. Do we REALLY want someone telling us how to use something, what to watch,
what to think? Independent thought and endeavor is at the very core of freedom. THEN comes accountability.
You use a product or idea in a negative or dangerous manner, be prepared for the legal and social hassles
and judegements.
Freedom of choice without a moral center is anarchy of the worst order. Whether from a religious or humanist
perspective, being accountable to our own actions is the ONLY way a democratic system can work. You simply can't keep EVERYONE safe or in line and have freedom.
That's why police "protection" is envariably after the
fact. We can't imprison someone for what he MIGHT do.
Yes there are a few cases where that happens. If the
victim has any kind of lawyer at all the prosecution
and arresting entities get eaten alive. The ACLU LOVE stuff like that.

I agree with your words on democracy. I also agree with the sale of Richard and Sammy's tapes. I buy them. I'll have more to say later. I'll keep you in suspense awhile.
