On a whim I picked up the Circle of Fire tpb and really liked it. I never cared much for GL before mostly because I always thought of GL as he was portrayed in the superfriends - really lame.
So now that I'm interested in reading more GL, I started looking around the internet and found that a lot of people can't stand Kyle and say that Hal was the greatest GL ever. Addmitedly I haven't read much Hal Jordan stuff (the Traitor TPB is the extent of my Hal exposure) so I'd like to get some recommendations.
What are some good Hal Jordan stories (preferably available in TPB) that show what makes Hal great?
Check out the upcoming Emerald Dawn TPB. It is a great story that centers on Hal. There is one currently out, if you can find it, but a new one is due out in Jan 2003.
