I've been a Lantern fan for over 20yrs. About 12yrs ago (Long live Hal Jordan) I got a tattoo of the power ring done on my finger. I'll scan it in later. Anyway last April while leaving a bar I was robbed on the way to my car. A man with a gun asked for my wallet and watch. I gave him my wallet but as I was taking off my watch he noticed the tattoo. He asked me if I was a fan of Green Lantern. When I said yes he handed back my wallet said "me to, sorry" and left. Green Lantern saved me about $40.00 and a cheap pulsar watch.

Good story! If it was true, (and I don't doubt you) the power of Green Lantern is more than just a comic book character!

Holy cow!! I thought I was the only one with a power ring tattoo!!!! I never go to bars, so I guess I wouldn't have your problem, but sometimes when I'm depressed I pretend that I am Green Lantern and can defeat my enemies.
