| Imagine, that during emerald twilight, if Hal had retired or died in the line of duty and the ring lay dorment (ran out of energy) for a few years with NO Green Lantern during that time (or Alan filled the void for that time) until the ring was reactivated and sought out a new wielder and chose someone (perhaps even Kyle) then would the whole changing of the guard have been easier to swallow? Who knows?

Because of the pressure in his personal and professional life Kyle goes nuts himself and kills Nightwing for getting all the Babes. Spectre then comes in, kills Kyle and inturn must become Green Lantern again because no one else is worthy. |

Good ideas both of you. I think the part about Alan taking over could have worked, but killing Nightwing is not a bad idea either. |

Are you kidding???? Killing off Nightwing is the lamest idea I've ever heard of. Now, I can understand the jealousy b/c Nightwing is a babe magnet, but come on!! You guys must be smoking dope, especially Conner!
