Alright, my aunt wants to know what I want for Chirstmas, and I figured a hardcover would be a resonable gift, as did she. She just wants me to tell her which one to get. I've already ordered JLA: Earth 2, so I was debating between Green Lantern: Fear Itself, and Batman: The Long Halloween. What do you think? I'm open to all opnions. I heard the art on Fear Itself was cool, and I was only able to look throught the softcover edition at Borders briefly. Any responses would be a big help, thanks!

I would go with Long Halloween

Fear itself was kinda a dud, to me. I only read the Alan and Hal stories (when it didn't put me to sleep and that god awful painted artwork hurt my eyes) Yeah it is nice to see nice Alex Ross wannbe artwork, but the people looked "to real" meaning it was very distracting trying to place which actor or model the artist was baseing the character off of, which distracted from the story. I swear, the artist used Gilligan for a model of Pieface, look at it and tell me I'm wrong... Bruce Campbell for Hal? And Carol Ferris was way off, looked like Deeana Troy...

Get the Long Halloween, then pick up the Soft Cover of Fear Itself either off ebay for $6 or www.milehighcomics.com in there bargin bin.
