my name is biff mullin and i am a 34 year old male. back when i was
around ten or so my parents got me a hand held electronic football game that
i played for hours a day. i could not and can not for the life of me find it
at my parents house.
all i remember is that it was a little bit larger than a gameboy, it made a
particular sound when you scored or made a first down or turned the ball
over. (remember this was close to 25 years ago so i may be off on a few
things!) also the men were minus marks or like this: - - - Do you know where
i could find one? it would be a fantastic X-mas present for my nephew that
has everything, except for this!!!
thank you with this matter...

I believe the game you are talking about is the Classic Football game that was made by Mattel in the 70's, because I had the same game. You aren't going to believe this, but I was shopping at Walmart the other day with my kids and found the exact game!! I ended up buying one for myself because all my old electronic games that I had growing up were lost. Apparently, Mattel has brought back the game for a limited time. Go to the kids toy section at Walmart and look where their electronic handheld games are. You should find one there.
Good Luck.

I have one, found it in donation to goodwill
it runs on a 9Vdc battery
It was very easy to beat once you knew the program.
I saved it from landfill,I also played it as a kid.
How much would you pay for it?I kind of like it for the nostalgia facto of how much we have progressed.

There is a re-release of it in December of 2000 in Wal-Marts only. I missed out but purchased one from www.4jay.com (in the new items section). Very cool.

I have one of the above games. Although I've had it for over 20 years, it has been used sparingly and periodically. I received it as "joke" gift when I was in my Forties. I still have the orginal box and instructions that it came in. If you are interested, please respond

I woul like to buy the game that you have for sale!!! Could you please send me a picture of the game to my e-mail. Depending on what shape the game is in, I would be willing to pay $20, maybe more.
