I extended this spy idea: I offered my services to Orcrist (when he was still around lvl 30), since I understood he's stronger than me. He accepted, and later gave me my only piece of rare eq (green dragon tight shirt, or something).
So, the idea is: you persuade the weaker people to be your spies, and at the same time you offer your services to stronger people. If played with proper skill (which I didn't manage most of the time, cuz it really takes skill in all the areas (gotta be a good pker, talker, trader,...)), you can go far with this, at least I think so. |
