I posted a couple of weeks ago about putting a 460 in a air boat and got a lot of great feedback. well I'm still working on the prop, gear box, cam combo for the boat.
What cam i'm looking at is the Crane, Power max h-266.
Can someone with a desktop dyno figure Hp-Tq for my 460 so I can figure the right prop?
Here's the specs:
1968 460, stock bottom end (11.0-1 i think)68 heads w/ screw in studs w/ guide plates and roller rockers(1.72),Edelbrock performer, w/ 850 demon, hei ignition, 1 7/8 headers.
The cam specs are:
H266-2 grind,
lift: in. @cam 285 @valve 487"
ex. @cam 295 @valve 504"
@ .050 in. dur. 210
ex. dur. 218
I hope this isn't to difficult, if there is any more info needed i'll try to help. Thanks for the help.
I love this site!!
