Would it be possible to move your engine down and back. That is the best idea I can come up with, although I am not a chassis guy. Here's the reason. I have a 70 Cougar that I build my own engine mounts for, and I put the engine in the same location as the 351, based on the driveshaft length. Now, when I did this, it raised the engine up a little bit, but it also stuck the engine forward a little bit. This TOTALLY changes the way the car handles. (AKA - it doesn't) I don't have the money to pull the engine and cut the driveshaft and build new mounts, etc, but if I were you and had the money, I would do it. Get that baby as far back and down as possible because that will make the car handle a whole lot better. Just an idea. Good luck! You guys rock! Dave
