1979-up 460s are external balance; 1979-up commercial 370s & 429s are internally balanced. Wish I didn't toss that cast big snout commercial 370 crank so quickly as I've been curious how Ford managed to get an internal balance cast crank into the D9TE block (wonder what's different than the 4U 3.59" cranks).
