Hay My 1st post , I have bee a FE nut for almost 30 fears and decided to build a full out race ford ,so I went with a 383 series motor . I got a RDI block standard deck height 4.6 bore, bought a set of pro filer C heads, and bought a pro charger F3R reverse rotation supper charger . And will inter cool it Plan on running electronic fuel injection. I want to know if any one out there has run any set up like this and if so what stroke would work the best? And Is sonny Bryant or C and C machine the best Crank . What snout would be the best the boss or bbc I bought the bbc mounting plat for the f3r as they do not make one for the bbf and wanted to know if any one has adapted one to a ford? and what I need to do. Any help would be great!

Have you seen a F3r reverse rotation mounted straight above the Crank before and if so , do you know how it was done did the use the bbc and modify it or fab something them self?

There is a guy on this site that had a article sometime back about a bracket he had made for a vortech reverse rotation supercharger, it has the blower mounted straight up from the crankshaft and he said he was looking for someone that had a procharger to experiment on and the mount he had really looked good and sturdy but someone else maybe can tell you his name or how to get hold of him. If you search hard enough on this forum you should find his article. I hope this help I have been wanting to do the same as you for a while now but the stand alone fuel injection and all the part to go with it get into some real money good luck and let us all know how it goes. I for one am very interested..
Thanks,
Allan

is his name-but the F3-R is a very large blower- HUGE compared to the vortech ys-trim-the F3-R has a 6 inch inlet and a 4 inch out let-it produces over 2300 hp-and 4000 cfm
IF YOU DONT LIKE MY OPINION DONT ASK

The way I designed the blower mount, it could be easily adapted to most any reverse rotation supercharger with a simple change of the top plate and setting the spacer depth accordingly. It has many advantages over conventional mounts such as minimized belt length (and whip), a tensioner on the slack side of the belt, and 50mm belt width. It also minimizes side loading of the crank due to the fact that the cog is as close to the timing cover as possible (over-wrapping the balancer).
The plates were cut at a local waterjet job shop. The packaging was optimized for my west coast cobra / stallion application. I don't know if it will fit other applications.
Take a look at it, and if this is what you're after...drop me a line using www.racesystems.com and the contact button. If you're doing something custom, it would save you a lot of time having at least the engine geometry already mapped out in a cad program.

He is one of thoughs guys that makes you feel smarter because your talking to him and shaking you head like you understand him. good luck trent

I am about 85% done with my Vortech BBC (carb in a box) adaptation to my BBF in my 1964 Pro Street Fairlane. I cannot figure out how to post pictures into this thing or I would post some. I can email you if you let me know your address. It was not that hard. A little machining of pulleys and fabbing up a mount onto the head. Now that I know how do do it, it would be easy to replicate
The bigger work is redoing the entire fuel system with a Big Aeromotive pump (return style)
