The band/lug limitation of the SLR001 kills it for me........

.....the great thing about a conventional lug system
is you can further personalize the look with other
bands/straps etc......781 looks killer on Waterborne
straps, as far as size, there are bigger Seiko divers
than SLR001.....the SLD005 has got to be damn near the biggest modern one, it's bigger than my Seiko 300m
but it ain't cheap either, and, it's a depthmeter too
so you might 'O.D.' on the number of hands on the dial.....
