Audrey Elizabeth Burba, 84, of Jamestown, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born in Strasburg, Va. on September 16, 1923, a daughter of Howard B. and Goldie (Agnor) Entsminger. She worked several jobs in the early years of her life. She worked many years at Kaiser's Laundry and at Wright Field in Osborn. She was a member of the Jamestown Senior Citizens Center and Jamestown Friends Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Howard, Jr., William, Elmer and Ed; sisters, Thelma, Marcella, Eleanor and Addie; and two grandchildren. She is survived by four children, Wilbur (Jan) Entsminger of South Charleston, Greg (Lisa) Burba of Beavercreek, Arthur (Jo) Burba of Bowersville and Barbara Hughes of Paintersville; brother-in-law, Gordon Reed of Jamestown; sisters-in-law, Linda Entsminger of Jamestown, Goldie Entsminger of Xenia and Leona Entsminger of Florida; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Powers Funeral Home, Jamestown. Burial was in Silvercreek Cemetery.
