while starfury is only space, thunderbolt space and atmosphere fighter, scorpion is solely for athmospheric flight even if it can also "fly" in space and blast zephyrs outta the way , still itd get blasted in pieces by any stronger fighter but when in athmosphere it can crush thunderbolt because its far more manouverable and faster than sluggish compromise thunderbolt...
