Hello all, just stumbled across this group here, and thought this would be the ideal place to inquire! I'm looking for some info, and a picture of a modification doen by a military fellow in the desert during WW2 name of Counus. There were 12 vehicles approximately modified as such- based on a Canadian Ford F60L 4x4 3 ton lorry. mounted a model 1897 fuield gun on the rear, in an armored shield, and used traverse parts from Italian tanks for an improvosed 360 degree traverse! It was dubbed a Autocannon de 1897(b) 'Conus'. Anyone know of this beastie?
