I have noticed that when my 11 month old male Akita is laying down in the living room, every now and then I start to smell something. It is difficult to describe but it is a fishy, musky, strong smell that hangs around for a minute or so and then goes away. I cannot tell if it is him burping or if it is some sort of flatulance. Does anyone else have any experience like this with their Akita???
