does the dog's temperament change after 16 months old

my male is 16 months old. I want to know if he is to become more agressive towards other dogs, because he isn't yet. He has a lot of respect towards people and i want to know if he will be able show some agression towards a posible traspasser someday. Does his behaviour and temperament change from thid point on?
