I was told that by going through a reputable breeder, you'd have a better chance of getting a quality animal, and get " after sales service", etc. Also, it avoids the puppy mill potential. We want a pup at around 8 weeks of age, the reported best age to get a pup, and it would be pretty hard to find a pup we could be happy with from a adoption/ rescue. Your thoughts?
