You don't know how lucky you are. I just posted a message for help with trying to get my akita to be less aggressive.
Although I love my dog, Koby I will never own another akita. Reading through the messages posted, I wish I would have seen them before buying an akita. Yes, they are beautiful dogs, but I have to worry about others safety all the time I have him around anyone else.
Feel lucky you have a "wimp"!
