New Pup & Female Akita

Hi...

I have a 7 month old female Akita and she is usually great with most animals. I say "most" because she seems intent on "abusing" anything smaller than her! My sister in law has 2 big dobbies, no prob. But my brother has 2 small variety dogs and it seems to bring out her prey drive. Maybe a small size animal (puppy,etc) brings out aggression?
