Smaller animals

Hi Ernie,

I agree that a lot of times smaller animals DO bring out their prey drive. But, I also think that most dogs know the difference between a puppy & an adult dog...so, if an adult female Akita has issues w/a puppy, I doubt it's related to prey drive, but more a matter of dominance/dog-aggression issues. My adult male had a best buddy years ago who was a tiny mixed-breed female. At the same time, he almost always hates large breed male dogs with a passion. It all depends on the individual dog, I think, though I also believe there are breed and sex-specific tendencies.
