We have a 4 year old male Akita, Czar, who is quite protective of myself and my wife around strangers at our house. I was considering obtaining a retriever for hunting. I am thinking of obtaining a female Nova Scotia Toller puppy. I am very concerned that Czar will not accept the new dog and I may have to find a new home for it.
They will both be in-house dogs.
