The first question I would ask is if czar is dog aggressive? If he cannot get along with other strange dogs and is very protective of you and your family there may be some problems. Especially if the other dog is of the same sex. Speaking from experience my wife and I had a male akita who was aprox. 9yrs old and very protective of us. We attempted to adopt a young female akita and he just would not accept her. I am not a professional but what we did was arranged to take our dog to the site where the pups are and take them both for a walk and see how they interact before you commit to the adoption. hope that things work out for you.
