Thanks Colleen and Keith too. I will definitely research more on bloating. Obviously I have been misinterpreting such a serious condition. Now, I finally get the picture of why it is such a frightening scenario. I am interested in the percentages of large breed dogs that fall victim to this, and why? Another scary thought is the number of vets that do prescribe without doing their research.
We put our trust in them, much like a family physician.
I guess the important thing is to be skeptical of both and ask alot of questions until one feels truly comfortable in their competancy. Even then, you just never know. Well, I'm babbling, so thanks again!
