I have a 7 month old boy who I intend to show. He has been through 6 wks of confirmation classes and has done well except for the fact that he wants to be right up against me. He is shy around people, but friendly until he sees another dog. I have entered him in a couple fun matches and he did ok. What can I do to get him off me and to keep him quiet? In his classes he did terrible the first night, but got better after a while. Is this something he will grow out of? I can take my female out with him and he seems to have all the confidence in the world since she does.
O can't take her to stand beside him to show.Help!
